All theme parks of the coast - Mirabilandia, Italia in Miniatura, Fiabilandia, Aquafan, Oltremare and the Park “Le Navi” - receive beyond 3 million people among adults and children every year. But it’s not all. Lidos and clubs offer many ways of having fun: music, drink, cocktails, many possibilities of meeting people or occasions to attend shows about fashion, glamour and music. Tourism in the Adriatic Coast started in the immediate post-war period, due to the entrepreneurial spirit of its inhabitants, in the Adriatic Coast (Milano Marittima, Cervia, Cesenatico, Bellaria Igea, Rimini, Riccione, Misano, Cattolica) there are more than 3500 luxurious hotels, hotels for families, boarding houses and B&B that meet and satisfy all your demands.
Rimini is nightlife city, not only because of its clubs but even for its millennia-long history that tell us stories about the caves surrounding the town, the tunnels passing under the surface of the ancient city, and all the legends regarding ghosts, witches, ogres, freemansory, gurus, and legends of immortal loves in the courts of Romagna.

San Giovanni in Marignano
The historical village of San Giovanni in Marignano is situated to 4 km far from the seashores of Cattolica, set in the middle of Conca valley. From an historical point of view, this little city has been called “Granary of Malatesta” because it was the heart of the production of grain and wine of the famous noble family of Rimini. The city runs along Via di Mezzo amongst numerous palaces raised in the romantic age. Medieval walls defended the entry of San Giovanni and they’re still visible. The small but extraordinary nineteenth-century theatre “Massari” has been recently restored, here you can attend concerts and many events concerning the world of literature and cinema (from January to May), the churches (like S. Maria in Pietrafitta and S. Maria in Monte), the cereals cellars dug under the village and currently observable.

Montefiore Conca
The House of Malatesta was an Italian noble family that ruled over Rimini from 1295 until 1500, as well as (in different periods) other lands and towns in Romagna and Marche; one of its preferred dwellings was the evocative and imposing fortress, built around 1300 and kept by the Malatesta family for more than 100 years, in the ancient village called Montefiore Conca, built the higher point of the Valconca, (the location of the fortress, high on the hill overlooking the surrounding area and town gave Malatesta a great advantage) on the border among Romagna and Marche, a strategic point from which it’s possible to see the coast, and all countries from Ravenna till Fano. The Fortress is now open to visitors after several years of renovation.
Montefiore Conca was the cradle of the Romanic, medieval, and humanistic culture: here there are so many signs of artistic and religious life, “Prehistoric remnants, ancient tombs dating back to the Iron Age, remains of large Roman ruins, demonstrate the splendour of this region and tell us about man's presence long before the Medieval period”, beautiful churches like the sanctuary of Madonna di Bonora or the church of St. Paul, the amphitheatre behind the fortress that is now a suggestive place for artistic and cultural performances.
Montefiore is not just an ancient village, or a fortress, but an example of the Kantian sense of sublime because it’s a symbol of an untouchable and rigid nature, outside the circles of time, even if when you step into Montefiore Conca, you step through time; and you can test it yourself.
Events:
:: “Rocca di Luna” (July)
Rocca di Luna takes place during the week of full moon in July, every year. The festival goes on for three days alternating different shows and performances of theatre, music, poetry, art, entertainment. :: "The Chestnut Feast" (October)
An appointment in October (every Sunday) with the fruit from the hills of Montefiore. None other than the chestnut trees which face out towards the sea representing an environmental rarity. As many chestnuts as you want, cooked in many ways with music, dancing and shows. There are also food stalls and free flowing wine from the town's fountain.
:: “The Nativity” (Christmas)
For Christmas, the streets of the castle become the scene for a big Nativity. People in costume, scenes of daily life re-enacted in every corner, have made this event well-known to many. Hundreds of visitors live this particular atmosphere amongst the lights, sounds and images of Christmas in Montefiore.

Riccione
Riccione has so many faces how many its frequenters are. Vital and fizzy in the daytime, Riccione dresses the colours of transgression, romanticism and tendency by night.
A trend setter place that loves the “beau monde” and latest fashion, offering a thousand and one crowded places up till the morning where Riccione narrates its story and opens the doors to changes.
You start with the happy hour toward 7 p.m. in one of the numerous cafes and lounges on the sea or in the famous historical centre: a way of living the informal and warm evening, nattering and gossiping with friends. Then after, you can choose a restaurant and it’s not easy at all: you’ll be spoilt for choice, stylish restaurants on the sea, or inns and eating houses where you could savour the pure traditional food of Romagna, for example the ubiquitous “piadina”. Anyway, if you click here you can find some suggestions. After dinner, there are no doubt about the place to visit in order to have some fun: Riccione is full of clubs and discotheques (Peter Pan, Prince, Pascia, Cocorico…), even if clubs, compared to the past, are places where it’s more likely to socialize than to dance. If dance is not for you, it’s easy to choose a pub o a noiseless beach club where to have a drink with good company.

Cattolica
Cattolica is situated on the border among Marche and Romagna, it faces directly on an wide natural inlet that softly plunges in blue water. Famous since 800’ just for its geographical position that places it to the shelter from the strong winds and from the sea tides, Cattolica became, during the centuries, the queen of the Adriatic sea. To the warm of welcome and the quality of the fun are added the pleasures of the typical cuisine. Cattolica is countersigned from other coast places by the recent works of urban renewal that have enriched the city with magnificent plazas and gardens near the seashores.
Cattolica is particularly famous for its fountains: Piazza 1° Maggio or "Piazza delle Sirene" is a beautiful fountain in the middle of the square, that represents three sirens wrapped by soft draperies. It’s an excellent meeting place, with a massive flight of steps, that becomes a large stage setting up shows and events on sunny days.
At the beginning of May, with the festival of flowers called La Regina, the whole city wears thousands of colors and scents. The town has a peculiar port where the typical fishing boats called vongolare (boats used for the peach of clams) are moored, and the excellent fish restaurants. With its marine park " The Navi" and its restaurants of fish Cattolica is the most genuine coast town among the cities of Romagna. Many interesting pubs, like “The Pirate”, “Camarillo”, “la Rocca”, “Black Sheep”, “Red Lion”, “Round House” (the only pub with a swimming pool) and the many others in which you can spend a pleasant evening before you can go to the discotheques of Riccione.

San Leo
This small town is located 583 metros from sea level, 32 km far from Rimini, on the top of an insurmountable mount; you reach the small city just by one path cut in the rock. There are few places that still preserve an atmosphere like in San Leo’s, it's beyond doubt that is one of the most suggestive and important stages of Montefeltro. Its fortress, mysterious, beautiful and powerful, is where Count Alessandro di Cagliostro (traveler, occultist and Freemason)has been relocated and sentenced of death.
The small village gave hospitality to Dante Alighieri and S. Francesco (Francis of Assisi). Even if the village is so small, there are so many museums and ancient churches to visit: la Pieve preromanica (the pre-Romanesque parish church) , Duomo romanico (the Romanesque Dome, XII sec.), the above mentioned Fortress, Museo di Arte Sacra(the Museum of sacred arts) and so on.

San Marino
Set between Romagna and Marche, few Km far from the Adriatic coast, San Marino Republic takes up a 61 km surface. It was founded in 301 d. C. by a stone cutter called Marino, an asylum seeker who tried to escape from the persecutions of the emperor Diocleziano. The republic is classified in castles (currently with the name of " Castello"- castle- we identify not only the historical building, but also one of the nine areas of the Republic’s territory) disposed in dominant positions inside the Republic, an immortal proof of the desire of the citizens to defend their freedom. Three towers rise in the higher points of Titano mount: Rocca (is surrounded by one of the three ancient wall that palisade San Marino), Cesta (fifteenth-century, has a pentagonal form, open to the public) and Montale (where you can find a prison, 8 metros deep). Due to the principle of “Nemeni teneri” – to do not depend on none- the community of San Marino succeeded to defend itself from the constant threats that imperiled it during all the Medieval period. Hospitable and warm, Saint Marino, with its rich architectonic, historical and museum patrimony, gives wide possibilities of shopping. The Republic calls the attention of four million tourists every year and gives the chance to attend some of the most important cultural and sportive international events.

Ravenna
Ravenna makes you think of religion and culture, first of all. It’s the third Italian city with the most important monuments and churches and religious buildings. Eight early Christian monuments of Ravenna are inscribed on the World Heritage List, just to mention a few: Mausoleum of Galla Placidia (c. 430), Basilica of San Vitale (548), Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo (c. 500). Do not lose the opportunity to visit “il Giardino delle Erbe” ( wich is considered the italian capital of grasses and gardens in this zone and it’s the most important park in Europe for the number of trees), the church of Santa Eufemia (18th century), that gives access to the so-called Stone Carpets Domus (6th-7th century) that houses splendid mosaics from a Byzantine palace and Dante Alighieri’s tomb.
Ravenna is Roman and byzantine city, but also a medieval and venetian town. On the other hand it’s a modern and contemporary place, rich of events and manifestations of international importance.
